White Paper: Cooling Small Rooms & IT Closets

The compaction of IT equipment and the simultaneous increase in power consumption are creating significant cooling challenges for businesses.  Cooling for small rooms and IT closets goes largely ignored until overheating occurs.

One problem is that while the overall total power and cooling capacity for an area may be adequate, the distribution of cool air to the correct areas may not be.  Blade Servers are a frequent culprit in this because, while they offer more processing power than traditional servers and consume less power per server, they dramatically increase heat density.
