Joslyn Surgitron III
Use these economic medium-duty protectors at the service entrance in a moderate lightning surge environment or at subpanels and for dedicated equipment to provide secondary protection from external or internal generated surges. These protectors are housed in a NEMA 6, I.P. 67 GE Norl plastic housing. Each phase section is rated at 40 kA peak surge current and is designed to operate in 50 Hz or 60 Hz systems.
These protectors are typically mounted at the breaker panel through a "knock out" where it can be electrically connected directly across the mains behind a 30 amp breaker. Proper functioning of each phase is indicated by individual weather-proof LED indicators.
