Server Technology High Density Outlet Technology (HDOT) allows compact power distribution for high density environments.
High power densities and reduced cabinet space require innovative solutions to maximize every rack U of space in the data center. With Server Technology High Density Outlet Technology (HDOT) vertical PDU’s, you can have the highest possible outlet density available in a network connected PDU meaning you get more C13 and C19 outlets while saving valuable rack space for cable management and cooling. Manufactured with robust high temperature materials carrying a UL94 V-0 flame rating, the HDOT high density PDU’s are suitable for even the most harsh data center environments.
Server Technology HDOT PDU’s are available in Metered and Smart models and include these standard features:
- Dramatically reduced footprint – get more outlets in 20% less space than traditional PDUs
- Highest possible outlet density available in a network connected PDU
- High native cord retention eliminates the need for locking devices
Metered PDUs – The Server Technology Metered PDU provides local LED input current monitoring, allowing IT personnel to determine safe levels of loading on a per-phase basis while installing equipment into the rack.
Smart PDUs – The Integral PIPS technology (Per Inlet Power Sensing) provides highly-accurate measurement of current, voltage, active power, power factor, crest factor, and accumulated energy. These power data points, along with temperature and humidity measurements (provided via additional probes), are accessible through the built-in Web and CLI interfaces as well as through SNMP. The Smart “Master” PDU can be connected to the Smart “Link” PDU to extend the network access to the redundant or secondary power feed.
The HDOT Rack PDU’s are highly customizable and available in Single Phase, 3-Phase 208V, and 3-Phase 400V inputs with a choice of three user-specified outlet modules:
