The TSI Power Raptor Series Power Conditioners are three-phase AC power conditioners (15~1000 kW) that are designed with the latest advanced technologies and are a flexible, scalable industrial power conversion solution. The Raptor series features parallelable three phase current regulated IGBT converter modules controlled over a high-speed digital data link from a DSP.
Raptor solutions can protect expensive equipment and uptime from voltage sags, momentary interruptions, swells, brownouts, harmonic issues, and frequency conversion.
The Raptor Power Converter is the heart the options in this series and it consists of power converter modules which can be configured to suit different applications. The Raptor Power Converter can be paired with different system enclosures to create these power quality solutions.
TSI Raptor Series Solutions
▪ Voltage Loss Compensator (VLC) – “Red Tail” – is a series of energy storage-based voltage loss compensators (VLC) with ultra-fast response time, high efficiency, and the option of both ultracapacitor or batteries for energy storage.
▪ Momentary Voltage Restorer (MVR) – “Sparrow Hawk” – is a series of non-energy storage-based MVR on the Raptor power platform in a compact enclosure and boasts ultra-fast response time, high efficiency, mobility, and the option of expanded protection time with standard electrolytic capacitor.
▪ Continuous Voltage Regulator (CVR)- “Falcon” – is a series of non-energy storage-based continuous voltage regulators (CVR) made up of the Raptor Power Converter cabinet and system cabinet. It has ultra-fast response time, and high efficiency.
▪ Continuous Voltage Conditioner (CVC) – “Merlin” – is a series of Continuous Voltage Conditioners with optional voltage regulation functionality. It uses the Raptor Power Converter for active harmonic filtration and frequency conversion. It has ultra-fast response time, and high efficiency.
