Data center capacity requirements don’t wait for construction schedules. The organizations we work with need more capacity, they need it quickly, and they need to know what it’s going to cost before they commit. Those three things are hard to get from a conventional buildout.
Schneider Electric’s Easy Modular Data Center All-in-One is worth a serious look if any of those constraints apply to you.
Watch: Easy Modular Data Center All-in-One | Schneider Electric
What It Is
It’s a complete, pre-engineered data center in a single factory-built unit. Power, cooling, IT racks, and EcoStruxure IT management software — integrated, tested, and shipped together. The engineering work that typically extends a conventional data center project is done before the unit leaves the factory.
Configurations range from 5 to 14 racks with power densities between 27 kW and 94 kW. Available as an ISO-standard containerized solution or as a 25- to 45-foot module. Each unit includes Schneider Electric’s Easy UPS, Easy PDU, and InRow cooling, all validated at the factory level.
Why it Matters
Twelve weeks from order to operational. That’s the typical delivery window.
A conventional data center project runs 12 to 18 months. The difference isn’t just time — it’s cost certainty. When the design, integration, and testing happen at the factory, the variables that cause schedule delays and cost overruns in conventional construction don’t exist. Schneider Electric puts the cost of an Easy Modular All-in-One at approximately 15% less than an equivalent engineer-to-order solution.
We’re seeing it used most often in three situations:
AI workload expansion. Organizations adding GPU-dense compute need capacity fast, and they need an environment that can handle high-density thermal and power loads. A factory-integrated pod with cooling and power management sized for that workload is the fastest path. For organizations specifically deploying AI infrastructure, we also carry EcoStruxure Data Center Pods for AI — a purpose-built solution for high-density AI compute.
Edge and remote deployments. Branch offices and distributed locations increasingly need data center-grade infrastructure. The containerized format deploys where conventional construction isn’t practical.
Capacity expansion without disruption. Adding an All-in-One alongside an existing data center keeps the live environment stable while new capacity comes online.
Monitoring from Day One
Every unit includes EcoStruxure IT Expert DCIM software. Remote monitoring, event management, and predictive analytics are available the moment the unit goes live — no separate deployment, no integration project. For organizations managing multiple locations or planning to deploy additional modules over time, that visibility matters from the start.
