The EcoStruxure Data Center Pods for AI, part of EcoStruxure data center solutions, accelerates AI data center deployment with prefabricated modular pods that include both power and cooling and are factory assembled for scalable, high-density IT infrastructure.
These prefabricated modular pod data centers are engineered for speed, scalability, and flexibility. They support up to 40+ high-density racks per pod with hybrid liquid-air cooling. Preconfigured and factory-tested, they ensure predictable performance, reduced capital expenditure, and rapid time-to-market that is ideal for hyperscale, cloud, and AI-driven environments. They are prefabricated in a Schneider Electric facility and transported to the site partially assembled for rapid deployment.

- The prefabricated, scalable pod architecture enables operators to deploy high-density racks, supporting pods up to 1MW and beyond, at scale.
- Engineered-to-order, the new pod infrastructure offers flexibility and supports liquid cooling, power busway, complex cabling, hot aisle containment, InRow and rear door heat exchanger cooling architectures.
- Schneider Electric EcoCare for Modular Data Centers is available for the Pods in addition to standard maintenance service offers and extended warranties. EcoCare includes configuration and design assistance, on-site installation and commissioning, preventative maintenance and remote monitoring, and access to expert support and digital tools.
- Each Pod supports up to 42 racks, with rack sizes ranging from 42U to 58U. It’s designed to accommodate high-density configurations, including racks drawing over 100kW+. Each design is engineered-to-order to meet the latest generation AI workloads.
- The Pod supports multiple cooling strategies:
• Hot Aisle Containment (HACS)
• InRow Cooling
• Rear Door Heat Exchangers (RDHx)
• Hybrid Liquid + Air Cooling – Liquid cooling can handle up to 70–80% of the thermal load, with air cooling managing the remainder - Each Pod supports up to 1MW+ of total power, with individual rack capacities reaching 132kW or more. Power is distributed via integrated 600V/800A 3-phase dual busway systems.
- The Pod can be equipped with Schneider Electric’s integrated busway system, or it can be configured to support a customer-preferred third-party busway product. If busways aren’t the preferred option, the design can also accommodate Remote Power Panels (RPPs) and overhead cabling to deliver power to the racks.
